    Hi,

    I have a weird question:

I've started downloading iOS 7 but I've just realised a problem. The eta is about 1am and I'm going to be fast asleep by then. That's fine, I'm happy for it to do its thing overnight. But, I have an alarm set for 7am as I need to be up for work.

My fear us that I'm going to wake up tomorrow to a new OS... at some point in the early afternoon and realise I missed work because my alarm got reset during the update.

Will my alarm disappear during the update?!

    Hope someone can help!

    Thanks,
    Sushil

The alarms will still be on if the operating system installs successfully, but they may not ring if you're not around to finish the setup, which includes reinputting your passcode and AppleID info.

Thanks for your reply, guess I'll have to stop the download and try again tomorrow then!

    Cheers
