If I ordered a Mac Mini today will it ship with Tiger?

I'm thinking of ordering a Mac mini for my mum. If I were to place an order today would it come pre-loaded with Tiger or would I have to dish out $10 for the upgrade discs.

I really want to just turn it on and work without having to reinstall the OS.

You'd have to buy the upgrad disks. You'll have to wait about 1-3 weeks after Tiger is released to get it preloaded.

Actually, the amount of time to wait is unknown. Sometimes they just stuff the OS upgrade media into the system box and wait until the product is upgraded before the change the OS is is shipping with.

Whether or not the person gets the OS Upgrade disks bundled depends on when the system actually ships. Usually systems shipped after the release date f the OS will get upgrade discs in the box.
