If I put an iPhone in recovery mode...

...will it stay in recovery until I manually do the recovery? Can I unplug it from the PC while in recovery mode without doing any harm to it?
 
Yeah...if you put an iPhone in recovery mode, it'll stay in recovery mode until you restore it. Disconnecting it from the computer won't do anything to it.
