...Here's what my Apple collection would consist of:

:apple: My 20" aluminum iMac, 2.4GHz, 4GB RAM, 500GB HD
--------
:apple: 24" aluminum iMac, 3.06GHz, 4GB RAM, 1TB HD
:apple: MacBook (white), 2.4GHz, 4GB RAM, 250GB HD
:apple: MacBook Pro 17", 2.6GHz, 4GB RAM, 300GB HD
:apple: Mac Pro, 3.2GHz, 32GB RAM, 4x1TB HD, NVIDIA GeForce 5600 1.5GB graphics
:apple: iMac G3 Bondi-Blue
:apple: iMac G4 (white)
:apple: iMac G5 (white)
:apple: Mac mini 2.0GHz, 2GB RAM, 160GB HD
:apple: AirPort Extreme base station

Nice to dream isnt it.

But why would you need all the ipods? You couldn't carry them all, unless you are planning on starting a Apple museum it would be pretty useless, better spending the money on itunes purchases and External drives to store them on.

If I won the lottery I would buy a fully loaded Mac Pro (not that I need that much computer, but why not do it with all that free money from the lotto?) and a 15" Macbook Pro.

Of course that would be AFTER I pay off my mortgage, put lots of money aside for my children's education and make proper financial arrangements so that one day I can retire.

I would buy Apple.
I would make Apple release the G5 PowerBook
I would buy a G5 PowerBook
I would sell Apple

I would get the most expensive Mac pro with four 30 inch cinema displays, the most expensive Macbook pro, 2 cintiq drawing tablets, the most expensive audio equipment (mixers, keyboards, controller pads), the most expensive DSLR with tons of lenses and equipment, a professional panavision HD camera, custom made computer desks, and buy myself a new house designed by me.

Sorry but I never really experienced the PPC age of macs and I wonder why people say that they hate how apple switched to intel or how they want a G5 powerbook. What was so great about PPC compared to current intels?

I've used G5 powermacs in my schools multimedia and design labs (we have a mix of G5's and mac pros) and i always hate working on them because their deathly slow even compared to my MBP.

Id have to have a Lisa and an original Mackintosh - nostalga for me :)

(and Id want them mint) + I'd have a cube for its looks and an LCII also)

yeh Id probably be getting a bunch of 30"'ers for my Mac Pro too, but the special bit would definatley be the original mac.

The G5 PowerBook is more of a joke at Apples inability to release one as the G5 ran way to hot.

If I won the lottery I'd buy a base end Mac Pro, with 2 graphics cards and two more Apple 20" displays, making three. 4 Gig of ram, 1TB HD, nothing special. Just to do my work. Then again I wouldn't need to would I… ;)

Well I just got back from my imaginary shopping trip to the Apple store.
All came out to be $28.725.22 :D

I'd buy a fully-loaded Mac Pro with two of the Quattro nVidia graphics cards. And 4 30" ACDs with wireless keyboard/mouse. And maybe an iPhone 3G white plus all the accessories. Most expensive Bose sound system and a 50" Bravia TV wall mounted lol. Then comes the fully-loaded MBA and 15" MBP.

I'd get a Macpro, Macbook Pro 15", and an iMac 24" (All of them pimped up to the max).

Then I won't worry about working, so I'll do a PhD and get a job in Apple. Then 15 years later hopefully I can replace Steve Jobs.... When he retired...

If I won the lottery ...

I believe 'buying' the other lottery companies (inc. the company of the winning lottery) are excellent candidates.

I wouldn't buy any new computers, I'm more than happy with my Mac Pro/MacBook combination.

Big Endian versus Little Endian. Once you go you big you never... well you know. :p :D
