If iDisk is ending... Why is it now so fast???

I just uploaded 877 files and 3 Macs in 3 diff locations were all done syncing in under 3 min... WOW!

That sounds very fast indeed! How large were these 877 files?

It could be down to the fact that iDisk is going to be stopped in its existing format, and the servers that run iDisk are different to those for iCloud etc, and therefore with most people moving over to iCloud, the iDisk servers aren't being hit anywhere nearly as hard as they would have been before. Just an idea.

Assuming the two services use different servers and/or data centres, this would be my first guess too.
