Just speculation, based on what happened before with the 4S, if they announce the event at Apple HQ, it probably points to a minor upgraded 5S, but if its announced for Yerba Buena or the like, a 6 or significantly upgraded 5S. Comments or opinions?

considering the state of steve jobs' health, it's possible they wanted to keep the 4s event very low key (jobs died the very next day). i remember watching phil introduce the 4s and thinking he wasn't his usual chipper self.

Yup, and looking back, you can tell they all knew his time was short.

OT, considering a massive fall line up (Mavericks, iOS 7, Mac Pro, possible other Mac and iOS device refreshes) there will probably be a big event planned, or maybe 2 separate events one for Mac and the other for iOS.
