None of them because I need an ExpressCard slot and I don't want to buy a 17" computer anymore.
 
Well money wasn't this time but common sense was but let's call them extra's… that's a different story ;) I'd still get the 17" MBP with everything conceivable such as maxed out ram 8GB (not from Apple though), the biggest SSD (again not from Apple) and the 3.06 GHz.

I am happy with my choice this time around as it stands but it's fun to add to the list of wishes :p

Seriously...main reason I would is because of the hi-res screen. I don't know why the 15" has such a low res LCD (1440x900). My 8yr old Dell Laptop 15" even has 1400x1050.

Dell was making high resolution widescreen notebooks in 2001??? This I have to see.
 
Where's the 'none' option?

I wouldn't buy either one of those listed. Waste of money either way, regardless of it being an issue or not.

C(r)apped SATA speeds, screen lottery and battery not delivering 7 hours with the inclusion of other things not listed/noticed yet.

Sorry, but I guess I'm just not enough of an Apple-fan for that.

Money's not an issue, but I have not yet seen the specs I want on the MBP 17" BTO. I'm basically waiting to upgrade to a 17" MBP for the next intel cpu, whenever it happens. When it does, I will buy the most available. Also, I'm hoping the GPU is upgraded also, but I might have to wait one more release cycle for that too. Which I'm willing to do. In the mean time, I use a white nVidia Macbook.
 
I'd get a maxed out 17" and swap its HDD with whichever SSD that is the fastest with large capacity on the market now.

Even if I could have any model for $100.

I want a small, powerful laptop with a matte screen. Apple hasn't made these for almost three years now. :mad:
 
If money wasn't an issue then I would pay Apple to make me a custom 13" MBP with 1440x900 or a 15" MBP with 1920x1200.
 
Top Spec 13", then swap it out for a fast 256Gb SDD.

This is if i had a Mac Pro at home.
