If one jailbreaks the ipad

Will it mess up the coming up November update with all those new features? Because i am thinking of doing it for tethering and emulators but will it not allow me to later update or like with the psp force me to wait for a hack?

I think if you backup your iPad and save your blobs you should be ok!

just wait a month for iOS4.2

It will be more than a month.

it will not mess anything up, when you update to 4.2 you will lose your jailbrake, all you need to do is wait for a new JB to come out and do it again.
