If restarting the phone fixed an issue....

If restarting my phone fixes an issue, does that mean that the issue is software? Or could it still be hardware? My 6s+ has lots of issues and I have tried starting the phone fresh and it didn't help. The issues come back after shortly after restarting.

Lots of them...it has been dropping calls a lot, when I text it often goes into landscape even when I'm holding it upright, sometimes the screen is not responsive to touch. The texting issue happens a lot...like 4 times a day.

Most things besides dropping phone calls are software bugs.
Try restore and setup as new. Don't restore from backup.

Did all of these issues fix in a reboot? That's a lot of issues to have all at one time and even more shocking to have them all clear on a reboot.
