Stores don't get anything in advance to "learn their way round." This includes Creatives not getting access to learn new software (iLife/iWork/Final Cut/Leopard) until launch day, and Geniuses not seeing new hardware until it launches. If Apple doesn't do that with things like software, there is absolutely no way they would do it with something as massively important as the second iPhone.

I agree! And really, how much different is the new phone going to be? A few new bells and whistles but nothing the average Apple store worker would need a week or more to get accustomed with. 5 minutes or less at most.

The more I think about it the more these boxes scream fake. Doesn't make sense to get just ONE display/example model and the above point seems moot as well.. oh well, only like what, 4 hours and 20 minutes to go until the grand unveiling.
