Mobile devices and laptops are very different. We already have one charger across all mobile devices (be it the older 30 pin or the newer Lightning connector).

Or just use a USB hub?

It sounds like to me that you're looking for a solution for a problem that doesn't exist.

I'm not sure who these others are you refer to, but is carrying a cable that much of an issue?

If you're travelling with your laptop, you are 100% going to take your MagSafe charger and putting a Lightning cable in your rucksack is going to make no difference whatsoever to your travel plans.

Again, it sounds to me like you're asking for a solution to a problem that simply doesn't exist.

usbC is open source amongst ALL manufacturers. All devices will goto usb C sooner rather than later. Re-read my post with this in mind.

I would expect to see Force Touch but not usb-c on the 6s. Maybe usb-c on the 7, depending on how widely implemented it is on Apple's laptop line by then (ie. every major model receiving new updates would have to have it). It also remains to be seen how well it will replace lightning in practice; there have been excellent reasons in the past for Apple using their own connection vs. standard usb. The fact that Apple helped develop usb-c should be a good sign though. On the other hand, usb-c is somewhat larger than lightning, which has to be taken into consideration in this day in age. I would not be totally surprised to see Apple stick with usb-c for laptops and lightning for iOS devices. No big deal once they make usb-c to lightning cables anyhow as you'll then be able to share chargers easily.

Using usb c on the iPhone 6s would be terrible. Because only one Mac even has the connector

Force Touch will most likely be the "hook" they unveil.

Amoled probably not until the 7 when the iPhone gets a redesign.

Real multitasking is unknown wether or not 6s and or 6s+ will also include this. (Since it requires 2gb ram and why currently iPad Air 2 is the only device capable of it.)
Well, USB type C is just a connector, you can easily have a cable with an type A to type C connection. I think it unlikely because it is thicker than lightning and Apple loves thin. If the 6S does t have force touch on it, then I really don't know what the hook for it would be other than the rumored 2GB of RAM and maybe an improved front facing camera experience. Some people joked the 6S would have the S stand for selfie, they could be right.
