nope - steve had it for over an hour and it looked ok all the time.

it's not a Core Duo or Core 2 in there anyway prob an XScale chip

Nah, it's sodium cooled so the Intel X5355 doesn't go all China Syndrome on you and you find your hand rapidly burning a hole to the centre of the earth taking your iPhone with you.

It's probably an XScale processor running at around 450MHz.
