I'm rockin' a green iPhone 11 Pro Max. If the next iPhone is delayed, then I'll have the "latest and greatest" for littler longer than normal.

I don't really care about that, but it just kind of hit me that that would be the case

I think you do care about that a lot. Your threads and posts here suggest you own things to impress others and have the opinion owning the most expensive iPhone gives you a certain level of superiority. Nobody really cares what phone others have. An iPhone is an iPhone and a lot of people own them.

Just bought the 11 a month ago so i'm good for a couple years. I'll admit the oled screens on the pro's look great but i'm just glad the 11 shares the same 2 cameras. I also really like the 6.1" size.
 
Couldn’t be bothered about the latest, I had a XS Max 256GB that I was more than happy to keep until 2022/2023, but with it being stolen my insurance got me an 11 Pro Max 256GB to replace it.

Happy to have my 11 Pro Max for a few years especially with the amazing battery life it gives me.

I’ve had my 11 for a few months, but I really like the phone a lot, and even though I upgrade yearly, and I’m always thinking “maybe this is the phone I’ll keep longer,” I feel like if there aren’t any huge improvements coming, this is really the phone I’ll keep longer. I would’ve kept the XR, but the camera sold me since I love portrait mode and XR’s portrait mode was limited. I am really a fan of the size.

It’s kind of nice though that you can get a pretty good deal on a used iPhone that happens to be the latest model still. Last time I bought an iPhone (7) was in 2016 and I paid more for it (than the 11 Pro) because I bought it new at launch. I don’t know if it’ll be 2024 before I buy another, but maybe. So I don’t need the latest iPhone, but it is nice when I do. I feel like I caught up. The 11 Pro is still just an iPhone though. But that’s also what makes iPhones nice.

This is an APPLE forum. Many members, including myself, likely come here for a departure from the reality outside the forum. If you wanna be all doom and gloom about the current state of things, I recommend r/Coronavirus or r/Collapse over at reddit.com.

Good Lord ARE YOU SERIOUS??? Notice the post above mine and below yours is also wondering WTH you are going through LMAO. I did not mention what you mentioned one time nor was I even talking about the pandemic. Judging by the number of people who reacted to my comment they agree.

So I’ll mention the virus now. I was NOT talking about COVID-19. My whole 3 line post was about the WHOLE WORLD we live in WE HAVE WAYYYY MORE to worry about then what iPhone someone is using. Nothing about the virus we have right now. Since you’re the one that mentioned it maybe you can go to those reddit posts you were talking about and explore your D@MN self. I mean that an iPhone is an iPhone no matter which model it is. The newer ones are usually an improvement, but even when you get a new one it's like meeting an old friend, especially after you restore it with the backup from your old one.

I'm very serious. I gave two examples of places that are built specifically for talking about things that are not Apple. The comment below mine was along the same vein as yours so I don't feel the need to repeat myself.

Geez would you get off the virus thing? Seems to be all you want to talk about and this is not the place. I'll say it again: if your butt hurts because someone on MacRumors wants to talk about their phone's color or their watch's face size or the number of cores in their Hackintosh, find somewhere else to waste your time.

I was using irony to lighten the mood. The entirety of his post he was raving about how he wasn't talking about the virus when I had never implied that he was.

Just having fun with it since this it's all going to be removed when a mod spots it.

You made sure first that the mood was further drowned with your entry into this thread.

Confronting the OP with reality can’t be done often enough.

You may chose to ignore reality and claim this forum is for that purpose but others still live with an awareness for real life.

I suggest you simply ignore posts rather than telling people where else they need to go to post.
