I have been having similar problems with my HP 1022 since I upgraded to Snow Leopard. I have tried HP tech support who are COMPLETELY USELESS.

There support on Windows 7 for the HP1022 isn't very good either.

It is amazing that such an established company like HP aren't taking this problem seriously. This is the last ever HP product I ever buy.
