Bring back the headphone jack. Matter of fact, just put multiple headphone jacks all over the phone. But by then, people will have moved onto Bluetooth and won't even want headphone jacks. Even the most diehard of 3.5mm fans.

So what one function? Does long range wireless charging count? If apple could implement this and make it usable, it would change so much it's ridiculous. Thinner phones + having your phone charge the second you walk in the door at home. The second you walk into a restaurant or mall. Never even thinking about a battery percentage. And then watching this technology propagate to other things like ipad, Apple Watch and MacBooks.

Either ANT+ or 2 day battery life in the plus.

Feel free to get rid of that taptic nonsense to do it.

What is often used as an example of this kind of thing:

Make the iPhone SE part of the normal iPhone lineup.
So, in other words, the "iPhone" will come in a 4", 4.7", and 5.5" models, and they will all get refreshed at the same time.

That's really not a feature, though. So I would just say "give it a larger battery, even if you have to make it thicker".

Touch ID that worked anywhere on the screen. Would be nice to click on a notification and view/respond to it without having to click the home button.
Errr
You can reply to a text right now or a notification via iMessage without having to exit the current application or minimizing it.

Example would be you're watching you tube and a text msg comes in. It'll appear on the top of your screen for a few seconds and you can force touch it to open and reply (then it disappears) without making you go into the YouTube app again.

Or you can let it fade out without replying at all.

I don't like the stupid accessibility home button so I really hope they don't do away with it.

I wish we could get a brand new port... It could be called "nailed" and would be as thick as a pin, so they could get rid off every buttons iphone has now and the battery too... when you need to use your phone, you can just buy the humpcase.

Why would you want to do that? The first 4 days with the 7, I was going crazy wondering if I was actually doing something with the Home button. Then found out about "System Haptics" and now I have the "cookie" I need when I tap the Home button. If you don't like it, turn it off.

This would be a serious legit "holy sh*t" gamechanger, something Apple hasn't had for some years now. If Apple could pull off something like that, then the "headphone now plugs into the lightning port" thing would be much more forgivable. As a matter of fact, it would actually all make sense at that point

Personally I want Wireless charging. This would make it a huge deal for me to upgrade.

Keep doing what you are doing. Don't listen to the haters. People are going to vote with their wallet anyway.

Have you seen the ridiculous amount of space the component takes up? It's nonsense aimed at airheads.

Ability to install android on it. I miss the lucky dip when picking it up after a while of "has my battery inexplicably drained to 20%?".

Had Galaxy Nexus, Nexus 4, Note 1, S6, and an HTC One in the past, a mixture of work and my own phones, every one did this. No amount of fiddling with background tasks etc ever resolved it.

Headphone jack, a file finder and for goodness sakes please allow us to choose default programs.

An sd card slot would be nice, or a removable battery.....

Ss card slot if never going to happen. Most people will just buy the base storage model and then just buy a ss card for extra memory.

Had an SD card on my S7. It is not a great experience.
You have to micromanage where to put your stuff and you need to pray, that every app supports saving to the SD Card.
And since the SD Card is much slower than the internal storage, you have to take that into consideration too.
Which is also the reason it's not a good idea to make the SD Card and internal storage show up as one drive, since then you can't control what's on the fast storage and what's on the slow storage.

I am very happy, that i don't have to deal with this anymore.
