I think thats the usb superdrive... Isn't it? Unless you are looking at the 13" cMBP...

USB Superdrive if you're talking about anything OTHER than the MacBook Pro (non-retina)

It's an additional accessory.

The SuperDrive is external USB based. You're better off getting one at a local store for both cheaper and with Bluray capabilities.
