I'm another for the G4 iMac - it's just one of those computers that everyone goes "ahhh" to when they see it.
I don't think Apple really have any "classic" designs in service at the moment - I mean the Ti Book was another for the classic pages but I wonder what we'll be talking about in ten years? The Mac Mini? Hardly.

Everyone here says "i want this back" or "i want this old computer with THESE new innards". WELL? why dont you?! you could probably buy the old cases off ebay or a garage sale somewhere. so why dont you do a little MODIFICATION! make it into a project! it'll be fun and exciting! This is what teh Mac community is lacking, it seems the most modification anyone does to their computer is adding more RAM, and even THEN they are sweating out every moment of it. i would LOVE to see someone put a G5 in an old G4 or whatever they want to do. i've seen some AMAZING things done with a PC even if they are PCs the people who built/moded the cases are real craftsmen. Dont get me wrong, i love macs and the mac community. but there is deffinately something it is lacking....

POWERBOOK 12'' please!
My brother has one, and it is lovely! Why did Apple stop making them ???
I run a powerbook 15'', and sometimes I think to myself 'dang, wish I had a 12'' to use on the bus'
I liked the toilet seat ibooks too. Nice variety.
How about the multicolour Apple logo stickers? Those are getting few and far between these days and are still a badge of honour to have on your car.
Simply the product names...
iBook, PowerBook, PowerMac.
Apple's being ridiculous thinking they need "mac" in every name so people know its an Apple product. No one I have met can mistake an iBook for an HP or Dell. And PowerBook sounds a hell of a lot more ballsy than MacBook Pro. MBP sounds like his geeky cousin or something.
PowerMac is like a godly image to me, Mac Pro is more like a Mac Classic with a business suit on.
I could not agree with you more. I loved the iNames for the more consumer-oriented products and the PowerNames for the higher end products. The whole Mac naming scheme is stupid, especially the Mac Pro.....yuck.
...and update it, which one would it be? 🙂
I would bring back the Cube to fill that wide hole between the Mac Mini and the Power Mac. Then I would basically give it all the same stuff that the Intel iMac has inside of it and make it aluminium to match ACDs!
