Don't those protrude right back into the camera - can you even use those with modern cameras? I don't think so... but yeuch!

It's actually so wide that you can look at yourself taking the photo yesterday. 😀 😀 Seriously though, you can use it on current FX bodies and I'd rather have an 8mm Sigma on a DX sensor that that huge dome on the front of my body. But that is just me.
