If you have been blocked on iMessage,will it say "delivered"?

I found a missed call and a voice message from someone I used to know the other day and I then sent them an iMessage and it says "delivered" but they haven't replied yet.

If someone blocks you,will it say delivered?

As I recall it will say "Delivered" if you are blocked. Just as it will if you aren't and they received it.

Hi.I tried blocking my number on my friend's phone and sending an imessage and it didn't say delivered.I then unblocked my number,sent another and did say delivered.

I had iMessage enabled on my MacBook Air but not my iPhone. Someone sent me a picture over iMessage. I never saw the message until I logged into my air a couple of days after the person sent the message. There was no indication on my iPhone that I received an iMessage. The sender received the "delivered" notice and wasn't sure why I didn't respond right away.
