I hope this is rare, or maybe I did it by accident, but I don't think so. I pre-ordered the watch using Touch ID on the Apple Store app. I changed my shipping address to my work address, and I very specifically remember double checking the billing address. Of course it was 3AM, so, you never know. Anyway, my billing address ALSO changed to my work address, and I just called support to get them to change it (which they did without issue). My info in Apple Pay had changed the default billing to my work address as well (which I could fix myself). I had ordered a MacBook Pro via the online store (in a browser) a couple weeks before, and that had the correct Billing address, and I had that delivered at work too. Since the Apple Watch order, I ordered a MagSafe to MS2 converter, again from the browser, and that one was also fine. So I either fat fingered something when I ordered or there was a hiccup.
