I would say treasure this time period because things are going to get bad, real bad. BTW, I grew up in the 60's which I thought were the best years. You don't have to agree with me, that's fine. Everybody's entitled to their opinion...

Why would you want to fear monger people though? Our time is not "bad, real bad". Some things are better than in 1975, and some things are worse. I think we're living at a very interesting time in human history.

We are living through a transition of some sort. Though to what exactly, I can't exactly say.

The New World Order :: puts on tinfoil hat::D:p

In all seriousness though, yeah it's definitely some sort of transition period. But currently, I can't say the time we're living in is horrible. I think there are many good things to be said about the progress we've made since 1975, technologically AND socially.

Ha! Tinfoil hats are for noobz. I built a faraday cage around my house.

Definitely. I'd say we're all pretty tense, and we're all very worried about what the future will bring, but overall, things are pretty damn good.

We're not a very stoic generation. We scream about the sky falling over every little thing these days.

Agreed. People spend a lot more time complaining and predicting doom than they do smelling the roses and enjoying their lives. The media doesn't help. That's something I would warn people in the past about, the out of control 24/7 media cycle that scares people into thinking the world is ending around them. Maybe we should just switch back to just the old evening news and call it a day. Maybe there really is such a thing as being "overinformed". It makes some people really paranoid.

Yes!!! Every little thing is a "the world will never be the same" moment. People need to get a grip. We're fine.

Of course the media in the US does portray things a little differently then our part of the world. Less balanced.

I would tell US citizens, "Do not, and I repeat DO NOT vote for Ronald Reagan. "Trickle-down" is code for "tinkle-down"".

Wouldn't tell anyone anything. I'd buy shares in apple and any other company that took my fancy.

Who would ever figure that Devil Dogs would taste like chemicals and that Twinkies would have a longer shelf life than it takes for nuclear fallout to clear.

There's a device that fits in your pocket that lets you instantly access all the porn in the world for free. It's called a cell phone, but no one uses it to make phone calls any more.

I thought it was a device that allows you access to the entirety of human knowledge, yet you only use it to argue with strangers?

I would tell them we live deteriorating futuristic buildings, eating fruits and hiding from the Morlocks.:D:D

Don't get me started. That's why I stayed here.
I wish I could've made it to the 1960s, but I ran out of plutonium.

Anyone who brags they're from the future obviously isn't from the future. Which is why you don't see me bragging!
