I was in my local walmart today and went to their electronics dept., saw a sign advertising the iphone4, talked with the clerk and said " Do you have any iphone4? ", he said I got two cases, you want one?. I was shocked, I asked if he had white ones, he said all they get is 16g black, but he gets a case day and has plenty, the local best buy and apple do not have any, amazing!

So if anybody wants one now, check with your walmart, you might be surprised.:)

I called every Walmart in Nashville today, and no one has them. One store said they have received two shipments total, each time getting 4 phones. Another store said they received a few this morning but they sold out quickly, and they get shipments every 3 to 4 days. The other stores said they hadn't received any shipments yet. So, its a crapshoot at best to find one in Walmart. You have to be there when they come in. It is worth a shot, though. I'll keep checking while I'm waiting on AT&T to ship mine.

I was a little leery as to whether Walmart would have the iPhone4 or not, until I saw the attached photo. Seems confirmed to me. :p

Just because she's not the most elegant looking of people doesn't mean she doesn't have a right to buy an iPhone

I can personally confirm this as I've just bought a 16GB iPhone from Walmart last night. I still have two priority list spots at the Apple Store but it's for 32GB .

Well walmart did put the movement of outsourcing into overdrive and spearheaded general acceptance of it, so why wouldn't they sell the iphone which is made in sweatshop factory in china, something none of us seem to have an issue with, that's totally the walmart way.

That aside.. seriously? that place is full of ignorant white trash pieces of ****.. I wouldn't step in one for fear of catching a disease

Wow, such compassion for human right AND bigotry in one package. You're quite the catch.

Was in Walmart yesterday morning and just for kicks I thought I'd see if they had any. I walked up to the counter to see the kid there selling one. So I got my hopes up and figured they had more. But that turned out to be the last one. *sigh*

Got mine a couple days ago at a Walmart.

The process is much slower than my 3GS experience was an an Apple Store, but it worked. They had to manually type IMEI, serial number etc. into their computer system as opposed to a bar code scan at Apple Store.
