Sorry - not a particularly deep thread!

If you were an Apple product, which one would you be, and why?

For example:

"I'd be an 11" MBA because I'm small but perfectly formed"

"I'd be iOS because I can only really do one thing at a time"

"I'd be an iPad 2 because I'm difficult to find"

"I'd be a Newton because I have trouble reading people's handwriting"

You get the idea...

Let the cute analogies, terrible puns and not-so-subtle innuendo begin!

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_2_6 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/533.17.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.0.2 Mobile/8E200 Safari/6533.18.5)

I'd be a PM G4 MDD, because I shine.

...I have no clue. This is an interesting thread.

A few more examples ...

"I'd be an apple remote because I get lost easily"

"I'd be MacWrite, because what you see is what you get (WYSIWYG)"

My real answer is:

I'd be an original iPod because I was once kinda cool but now I look a bit dated and chunky. Still working though!

G4 cube.
Kind of pokey performance wise, still classy, looks good, but can over heat if stressed :p

The iPhone 4: brilliant at some esoteric tasks, but nearly useless at the most basic ones. Yes, the Rainman of :apple: products.

Either that or a LaserWriter II: an old, reliable workhorse.

I guess I'd be an iPod Touch because I'm responsive to tactile interaction, lots of fun to play with, and l love FaceTime. :D

I'll describe myself first.
I can do a little bit of everything but I'm not necessarily the best at anything.
I like doing things my own way. I'm not likely to follow the crowd. I try to get the most out of something. What I buy has to be as useful as possible without any gimmicks.

I'm the mythical mid range desktop Mac.

MacBook Air.

High quality, thin, fast, mediocre size, and tends to get hot quickly but makes damn good use of what it's got. :D

Black Macbook (which I have now :))
One of a kind, fast, sleek, attractive but not too flashy.
Plus I'm African American so it kinda fits lol.

But yea I love the design and aesthetics of the black MacBook; wish they gave me an option in the next iteration of Pro's they come out with.

G5. I'm a hoss.

My favorite TV character XD

Mac Pro. DYN-O-MITE! Plus.. you still see lots of PowerMac G4s still kickin, while things like iPod nanos tend to get tossed into drawers when the next best thing comes out. OTOH, even when you see people throwing around $50 G4s on Craigslist people still use them lol.
