why not sleep in line? That's what I plan on doing. Get there around 11-12 wednesday night, pop out my camping chair w/ foot rest, set my phone's alarm for 6 and be good to go.

I don't sleep outside amongst a bunch of people I neither know nor trust. My bed will do just fine on Wednesday night. :) Then again, I have the luxury of having reservations at an Apple Store that's inside a mall, so the very earliest that anyone will be able to get inside is 5:30 am.

I try not to sleep when i camp out, theres just too much risk even when your friends are there. And i like to travel light, a backpack and a sleeping bag.

That's light? I will probably have my ID two credit cards and my iPhone 3g.

What if you overslept only to wakeup and be told that all the phones are gone. That would be a real bummer man.

I'm going to sleep on my couch while I wait for the FedEx guy to arrive.

Yeah I wouldn't be comfortable sleeping while camping out either. My sister took my laptop on a trip and I already sold my 3GS, so all I have left to pass the time is by reading a book when I get to the Apple store at 11pm.

Technically... isn't that doing both? Sleeping and waiting in line. ;)

Regardless of mall security people will find a way to Que up over night whether its in the parking lot by the entrance or just off the property...

Hey if you have no problem with it then great. I thought some might be bothered by my naked self sleeping in front of an apple store.
