I changed credit cards last month and didn't update my AutoPay for my iPhone with ATT. So, I get a call from ATT asking me for a payment and we changed the info. Before I hung up I asked what the payment amount was and they said $300 something. I was like "What???".

Apparently, in their system I had TWO iPhones with a bunch of other fees. After it was straightened out my bill was under $100. Just an FYI if you're not checking the amount you're paying for each month, because I usually don't with my automatic payment accounts.

Sigh AT&T... but that's good that you resolved
the issue. Gladly I don't use Autopay and Billminder reminds me of all my upcoming bills :)

Not to be rude - but I see this as obvious. Just because something is on auto-pay wouldn't preclude me from checking my statements (either bill or banking). It's the responsible thing to do.

I'm not a fan of autopay because it's a pain to call up customer service to cancel it. I don't need a gazillion questions asking why you want to stop autopay, JUST DO IT!!! This is something I had to deal with when I had a Pick Your Plan Go Phone account on autopay.
