The post only seems partially completed, because as of my typing this, they only get to detaching the display.

Interesting stuff:

Display panel is plug-n-play compatible with a 5s display.

TouchID cable is still in same place, so separating the display from the unibody requires some caution.

Well, that explains the 1.2mp front camera, Gen 1 Touch ID, and same contrast ratio as the 5s, doesn't it?

But how does it explain the iPod touch 5th generation having the same FaceTime HD camera as the iPhone 5 (smaller pixels than the iPhone 5s's) yet the iPod touch 6th generation having the one from the iPhone 6 (which has a larger f/2.2 aperture) if both iPod touches also have the same screen?

My guess is that Apple didn't have enough f/2.2 1.2MP FaceTime HD cameras for the SE, since the iPhone 6, 6 Plus, iPad mini 4, and iPad Air 2 all use it. Would have been nice for it to get the second-best camera rather than the third.

That or they had a lot of 5s display assemblies left over lol
