I had a mini, and synced my iphone to it, now I have an iMac, and nothing synces, like photos and music, I think becuse it doenst want me to be sharing with 2 computer.

I understand, but how do I make the iMac the main computer to synce with, and NOT LOOSE MY PHONE NUMBERS?? I can replace the music and pictures, but the numbers area pin to re-type in. FYI, I still ahve the mini if that helps.

Thanks a million.

well contacts and calendar are two way sharing process. if u sync it with different computers, it will copy it over there (if you choose not to erase it).

so when you will connect it to iMac, it will give you option to erase; just cancel it; choose to sync contacts and everything else which you want to sync with iMac but songs, pictures and movies. click sync and it will sync your contacts.

and if you want to make iMac your primary computer, after syncing contacts, you can move your songs over there and then you can choose to sync songs but this time you have to erase it; but dont worry, it will not erase any of you contacts or calendar. i did this 3 months back when u got the new iMac.
