Ikea dioder strips?

Loads of people here seem to use the dioder strips. I have the white ones in my kitchen, but on the multicolour ones, is there an option for white?

in addition to this thread. i would like to get some dioder strips on the back of my imac, how do you guys fix them up behind there? (ive seen many pics of ppl with it before) doesnt the heat of the computer interfere?

No problems sticking them. You can either use the double-sided mounting tape squares that come with the dioder or just simple scotch tape.
 
Just wanted to let you know I bought them today, only previously owned the white ones.

Gonna have to figure out some way to mount these cables to hide them away!

And theres loads of different settings, instantly change colour, fade through colours or just a single solid colour, loving it!

Im also looking into buying these for the back of my iMac.Looking at how they would go on the iMac from people who have these lights would they damage the back of the iMac if i ever wanted to remove them and how easy would it be to remove them
 
Just ordered my Dioder flex stip tonight getting stoked to hook it up.

I am curious if anyone knows if it plays friendly with going to sleep when the display goes to sleep?
