iLife '08 installation (upgrade?)

I am about to purchase iLife '08 and was wondering how it installed. I already have iLife '06 installed so does it just update '06 or add '08 alongside it.

True. If you look in the Applications folder, it'll say "iMovie," then there will be a folder beneath that application that says "iMove (previous version)" which has iMovie '06 in it.

You'll have an option to download iMovie HD (6) from Apple's website if you so choose.
