iLife '09 registration

I just got a refurbished iMac. It was loaded with iLife '08. Inside the little box was a disc for iLife '09. but I've looked, and there's no marketing part number, so how do I register it?

I have no idea but I guess it's possible with serial number of your iMac.

I don't think that iLife '09 has serial numbers anymore. I think you can just insert the disc in the iMac and install without needing to do anything else.

You install it. That's it.

iLife has never had serial numbers.

You register hardware with Apple, not software. (Except maybe pro apps)

Still it installed without problem, so I'm wondering why there is a registration page. And no it's not a serial number, it's a "marketing part number" 😕

I never knew you registered software. The part # is MB966Z/A.

I registered mine using the MPN off of my mac.
