Can anyone whose already purchased iLife '09 let me know if the applications are serialized, i.e. requires the entry of a license key to install, or not, similar to iWork '09? Thanks in advance.

They aren't, and they've never been.

iWork is also famously NOT serialed this year.

The Retail disc is not. The demo though obviously will require a serial number but that is pretty much a given...

There also has not ever been, IS no, and WILL NOT be a DEMO...

...of iLife! iWork, on the other hand, DOES have one! :p

Uhmmmm there is a demo (or trial depending on what you call it) on-line which is what he was talking about. ;)

Haven't you noticed that Tallest Skil doesn't read beyond what he is quoting? :p;)

    Thank you.

pdjudd was referring to the iWork demo.

    Ah, folly. *Astronomical Fail*

Hang on, what does it say about me that I didn't read beyond what was quoted when I was the one who was quoted?

This is too confusing. It's Apple's fault for having two products with five letter names and our fault for talking about both of them in the same thread. :p

I haven't posted in three months, but this one pulled me back in. He is correct in saying there is no demo of ilife... and seriously... try to specify which piece of software you are talking about...
