iLife 09 (up-to-date)

A friend of mine bought a MacMini after january,06. Then he bought from Apple an iLife 09 up-to-date (~ US$ 9.95).

He never used/installed it and he wants to sell me.

Will it work in my iMac 2008? Does it has a 'serial'?

Yes it should work - iLife does not have any serial code.

As long as your computer meets the hardware requirements and is running 10.5.6 you should be fine using that install disc.
