A new MBA? If it's good enough I'm going to scale down and get one. I love those things, but they definitely need more ram.

I know. And I know Snow Leopard is only 29 EUR.The only reason being, your desktop software is 4 years out of date. Unlike you iPhone, which which is only 8 months out of date.
Historically, Apple has given the public a preview of the upcoming OS X, yet the final release will be months later. If they do this today, they would be keeping in line with previous behavior.
They could easily release new Macs without a new operating system. They have done so in the past, you know.

I think we will see 64-bit Final Cut Express before Final Cut Pro because FCE is a stand-alone product and would be a solid base for FCP. FCP would get more "advanced/professional" features along with integration with the other Final Cut Studio applications.Please PLEASE PLEASE FCP 64 bit FCP.
