All's quiet in the rumor mill. It makes sense, but we've heard nothing.

My hope is that the next version of iWeb has a super-easy user interface to essentially create cascading style sheets.

I agree, iWeb is apples hidden gem, if they do it right it could be very usefull.
I know there are hacks but, i want real rollover buttons not just text rollovers. A way to load only new content on a page and not need to reload things like custom navigation etc...

Right now the page loading issues make iWeb a bandwidth/data transfer hog...

I expect the biggest changes are in iWeb and iMovie. iDVD may just get a theme or two since iDVD is now old technology. iPhoto might add some fancy animation to discover your photos in a 3D environment using Core Animation. Perhaps a new iAnimation program will be added. Garageband might lose the wood theme. It is hard to tell what they will do. I would like to see Snow iLife '09 at a minimum.

I personally don't think there will be a iLife '09.
If there was supposed to be I guess it would already be available...
Also from '06 it jumped to '08 which I interprete as being the first step of a 2 years iLife renewal cycle.

However for the next version of iWeb I hope there will be HTML editing right in the application itself (and not those dumb and useless HTML Snippets).

iMovie I hope it will get back to iMovie '06 which was much better than the '08 iMovie. I still hate the '08 iMovie.

    Actually, it was:

    iLife (2003)
    iLife 04
    iLife 05
    iLife 06
    iLife 08 (in 2007)

I think iLife 09 is very likely.
