It would have been cool if the had a modified version of iLife for the tablet. That's what I was expecting w/ an inclusion of a new graphics program.

    Why?

It has no FW, USB ports or optical drive. That basically excludes the use of iMovie, iDVD, iPhoto.

There is a camera connection kit that has USB and SD card inputs for putting photos and videos onto the iPad directly from the camera, not to mention synching with iTunes.

Right and in most cases you need a Mac to get the ball rolling. Why create an iMovie on an ipad when you have to move it over there. Edit it and move it back to the mac to burn a dvd. The work flow doesn't make sense.

The iPad is not designed to be a laptop replacement, it has far less functionality. As his Steveiness stated its suppose to be inbetween an iPhone and a MBP. It cannot do the phone stuff better then the iPhone and it cannot do a lot of the MBP stuff better.

Just out of curiosity, why would you want a camera on an iPad? I can see an iSight on it, but not an iPhone type camera like some people want. Are you seriously going to be holding this big thing in front of you trying to get that perfect shot? It's like carrying around a MacBook and taking pictures with the iSight...
