No need to come up with a reason. I'll probably get one just because they exist. ;-p

Honestly, the last couple years I've said I would be happy to keep my phone (the XR and now the 11). In fact, I planned to keep my 8+ when the XR/XS/XS Max came out, but wound up going with an XR after having trouble with the OLED on the Max.

Then I planned to keep the XR because I loved it, but couldn't resist the 11 because of the camera upgrades. Now I feel like I have a perfect phone for my needs, but it doesn't take much to sway me.

The boxy design looked cool and wasn’t bothersome back when phones were smaller. I don’t know how nice it will feel on a phone that is already digging into the edges of your palm. But hey they’re supposedly making it smaller so it might be alright.

I’m on the 11 pro though and I try to keep a phone for ~3 years. At the same time I have somewhat of a love-hate relationship with it and could be convinced to switch sooner for something thinner and lighter. (Yes, I am the lunatic that keep asking them to make tech thinner!)
