As I do each year, I take pics of my phone when it comes in each year. Gives me a chance to practice some product photography. So here are some shots of my 16 Pro Max in Desert Titanium, along with a couple of it next to my outgoing natural titanium 15 Pro.

The color looks very much like iPhone 8 gold.
I wish it was true vibrant "gold bar" gold like 13 Pro instead of this pinkish warm tone.

Nice shots! I’m surprised that you were able to not upgrade Widgy on a new phone.

I’m not sure what you’re trying to say with this. I just chose to use mostly the same setup. I can certainly change widgets.

Sorry I meant because you don’t have the widget label, but I now realized you’re probably using the large icon settings.

Clean shots, well done.
I found it always strange how little these phone generations change from year to year. To me it seems that the big revolutions happen only over multiple years these days...

Tony Northrup let’s say, will often focus on certain items that don’t matter as much if it helps with a good headline or controversial opinion. Helps drive traffic.

The cameras on the 15 Pro series are better than the 16 Pro series apparently.
Every year people say that the last years iPhone has a better camera than the new year. I have used the camera on my 16 PM a good bit and am finding it quite good.

To be fair, he isn't just saying, he's providing evidence to back up his claims. Also, I have discovered a thread on here discussing the issues that he points out in one of the video's. All that being said, I'm enjoying my iPhone 6 Pro too!

I mean, unless I missed something going through there, it's literally one situation: the ultra wide in low light. Everywhere else it's a wash or improved. Like I said - the headline focuses on one thing to make the headline. The ultra-wide is better in good light. Macro is better. Main camera shots are less overprocessed, and video quality is a step up. Sure sounds like typical Tony Northrup clickbait to me! Also...why on earth is this posted in my thread about product photos of the physical device?

(also for me, the camera is a pretty minor thing on my phone. I like that it takes decent images, but if I'm shooting for stuff I care about I'm using a real camera.)
