Well my coworker has been working on me for a while, that and she may have been sabotaging my Dell laptop to help push me, but i guess i'll never know. I've been saving up for this for quite a while.
I did get a Dell 2005FPW flat-panel display to go with it. I'll try to take pictures of everything as i unpack it all!!!
I'm sure I'll be asking lots of questions as I learn how to use this beast! 😱

I am a recent switcher too and I thought I was lucky to start out with a powerbook. You will def enjoy the pleasure it is to interact with the OSX operating system. Not too mention it is so NICE to be virus and spireware free for the first time in my life 😛

not trying to be nasty ...just a bit of a cynic ..but i wonder what is the motivation to create a post letting people know what you just bought (when it isn't even there yet!)... and what is the motivation to take pictures of it while you unpack it.. is not like a powermac is something that cannot be seen anywhere else... i think a good forum should have good questions and good answers that are useful, just bragging about equipment just creates low value forums for eg compare the high quality photo.net forum with the low quality dpreview.com forums (this is for photography)
