The Wall Street Journal says there will be no recall.

So, I ordered my iPhone on saturday. It came in yesterday, but I might get it tomorrow. Should I wait for official word of the recall from apple or pick it up. Will I get a new phone for free if they recall it?

does anyone know what time the press conference is for?

Pick it up. They will most likely have a situation where you can go in and exchange it for a newer model or an in store fix.
