Im about to order online for iPhone 5s, got a question.

This does indeed work still right? Because I'm going to be using one of my family members upgrade and swapping the 5s onto my unlimited data account. Also if anybody has done this with an iPhone 4, what message pops up when you need to transfer sim cards?

Also can i not upgrade it on verizon's website with my dumb phone and then when the phone comes in i can then activate it and switch the new phone onto my number or must i go to the store and do it there first?
