I'm accidentally increasing the font size / icon size?

I'm must be hitting some strange key combination / trackpad gesture (I just got a macbook pro) and my font size in safari keeps randomly increasing. This happens on the desktop with the icons as well.

Any ideas on how to fix this problem?

Did you hit: Apple (Command) + shift + "+/="

At least in PCs browsers....

Hold down simultaneously both buttons:

CTRL + to enlarge font size


CTRL - to decrease font size

There is also a multi-touch gesture for resizing fonts. I don't remember what it is on a mac off the top of my head (I have yet to buy my first MBP) but the synaptics pads I have it's a two finger diagonal pinch or stretch to decrease or increase the font accordingly.

are you pinch zooming with two fingers? like on the iphone that will increase/decrease the size of icons on the desktop... not sure about safari though.
