It is possible my internet ordered MBP is going to be declared lost in transit very soon. Does anyone know what specs they keep in stock in Apple Stores?

    Looking for a 2.8 / 7200 which I guess is unlikely

A little more information as to what your asking may help?

    call the store.....

But if I recall from previous posters they usually don't have the higher end BTO options in store.

AFAIK stores carry up to 2.53GHz. At least I have not seen nor heard of any 2.8GHz machines hitting shelves in stores yet.

Won't find a 2.8 or a 7200 in the stores. Both are BTO options. Stores only carry stock configs. It's not a matter of when. They won't be there. Get your problem resolved and a new one sent to you.
