That's what I'm basing my experience on as I have one of those in my bag right now. It's not that bright and a bit difficult to see in sunlight. It's fine in the shade. I don't know if any LCD would be good in sunlight. Again there's plenty of reviews etc. that say that the 15" and 17" powerbooks have better screens. The cheapest 15" powerbook does cost double what the 12" ibook does though.


alot aren't. my old 17 and 15" powerbooks used to be almost impossible to see on a bright day, especially on a hazy glare-filled day, then they'd appear blank even at max brightness
