I'm beginning to loose the plot - MobileMe syncs nothing...ever

    I have set up MobileMe on my iPhone, Mac and my PC. All say they are synching etc....but nothing appears in Mobile me, my calendars are empty, contacts non-existent and the phone behaves like it did before...no 'push' is working. I have even done many manual synchs which all go through fine.

    To top it off, my iphone conveniently synched to the empty 'Cloud' and i have lost all my contacts.

    Have I forgotten to click the special imaginary button that makes this all work? I'd appreciate any help! ...before I go insane!

    How did you initially load the CLOUD. On Windows I went into the MobileMe Preference and did the "Sync Advanced - Reset Data". I.E. Load MM with the data from Outlook and Yahoo Address Book (where my contacts were).

    Hi...yes i did the same procedure on my XP machine but the cloud still shows no contacts. i have just done another sync from my imac this time, it says it has synced but nothing is showing in the cloud (even after 15 minutes).

    thats odd....just bee into the mobileme preferences on my imac and everything seemd to have reset itself. It no longer says sync 'automatically' and all of the items i want to sync are no longer ticked. What the hell is going on?

    ok, log on to MobileMe and go to contacts and add one. Then I switch to Mail. When I click back on to contacts....empty...any contacts I have manually added are gone.

    Surely someone must have an idea what is happening?

    What's happening is mobileme doesnt work right yet - I literally just got back from the genius bar, and the genius had my computer for 30 minutes and couldn't get my mobileme calendar to match my iCal, something that should be fairly simple given the service. He wasn't even trying to get the push to work, all I wanted first was to establish a SYNC, and it couldn't be done. He said apple is just working stuff out and I won't have full functionality for a while. Oh well, it works for some, not for others - we'll just have to wait.
