I was thinking the same thing. During the keynote I was thinking it might be the new charging port and be magnetic like MacBooks.

Apple will add wireless charging, but come up with a tech term so it sounds like they invented it.

To me, the things I would like to see are;
Wireless/Inductive charging option
Fast charging
Waterproof/resistant (we may be there, and they wouldn't tout that as a feature)
Higher resolution for all models (at least 1080p)

Tongue in cheek or not, I would actually find an IR blaster kind of really cool. Minority here. I had a G4 for a few weeks and I found it easier to control my Apple TV with it than fiddling with my iPhone.

EDIT - Okay, so the new Apple TV doesn't have IR, so I guess that'll be out the window. Still, just saying.

EDIT 2 - Never mind, yes it does, so again the IR blaster would be cool to me. Or, Apple can update the Remote app so it actually WORKS. That would be nice.
