Ok I really like iChat but the thing is there is no support for yahoo and msn messenger. I am curious on what people are using or is there a 3rd party addon for iChat that will allow more protocols? Thanks

I use Adium too. But when I start using mercury for video, it mostly doesn't work, or shows a blue transparent layer...

I use it as I can't seem to get Adium to do an equivalent of Windows Live's 'Appear Offline' (tried Invisible, people still see me). And I like native apps so the others are out of the window.

It's basic, I'll say that, but I'm a no-frills kind of guy so it works for me. The few people that I really want to A/V with; I use Skype.

    Whatever works for you, OP.

it sucks! They said they were busy making A/V msn messenger for mac. so they stopped the development of version 6. And after some months they only created offline messaging for version 7.

I use the irssi command-line IRC client plus a bitlbee server (which is an IRC to IM gateway - handles all the major protocols).

Yes, I like to be different :p;):D
