Why does everyone hate on iTunes so much? It's literally the best music player in my opinion. Maybe it's rubbish on windows, on Mac it's great; displays all my albums beautifully why would I want to switch?

Also I use smart playlists from different playlists to create sub catagories of rated songs and loves songs. Any update is reflected on everything. It's just seamless!!

Love iTunes :)

It's absolutely fine on Windows 10. Not nearly as nice as on a Mac (the font and animations are fairly ugly and low fps in comparison), but functionality wise it's all there.

Agree 100% on iTunes, there's nothing wrong with it.

Apple Music + Match + largest drive available on the iPhone = don’t have to micromanage your music library or even think about it.

Throw more money at it, I say!

According to your "logic", those who like iTunes are intelligent, those who don't are not. Impressive form of argument.

Not necessarily.

I'm just saying that iTunes isn't as difficult to use as some make it out to be.

The Note 7 really tickles my fancy but I have 3 apple computers and an iPad plus my SE. I really dig airdrop, handoff and SMS from/to my computer. I frankly can't stand iTunes either. I wonder what touch wiz is like now days. It kinda sucked a couple of years ago and my note 4 was sluggish. My S6 edge was better but still needed at least daily restarts. When I realized it's got no USB host, I moved to iPhone and like it for the most part other than the lack of a proper file system and file explorer.

Apple support is definitely second to none.

Many people overlook the fact that not everyone is tech savvy. Can you imagine how terrifying it would be for someone's parents or grandparents if something happened to their phone? It's comforting for these people to know that there is a location they can go to for help. Of course a carrier store is another option but those guys are clowns.

Smart choice. My friend got a gs7 and he said the excellent hardware alone couldnt make up for the fact android sucks for him.

... "for him"...

there are devices with one button and two buttons. it is clear that one button devices are better for somebodies...

iTunes is not difficult to use.

What it is, is irritating to use. I could understand syncing stuff to your device in 2000-2003, but to have to go through iTunes just to get stuff on your device now is ridiculous.

If I want PDFs in the Books app, I should be able to drop them into a folder and have them appear in Books. Same for ringtones, same for video, photos, etc. I shouldn't have to use iTunes just to sync them to my device.

I get that Apple doesn't want us to interact with the filesystem of our iDevice (you can with photos on a Windows machine!) but this is truly dumb. And when problems happen (as they will) it's annoying to have to sort through what happened.

From a jailbreak perspective it's also additionally infuriating that a sync with iTunes renames your files to a series of indecipherable alphanumeric filenames and then drops them into the correct folders on your iDevice.

Try browsing your movies or books to find the one you need without knowing what the hell the sync renamed the file to!

The Lightning cable's incompatibility with PowerPC Macs was the best thing that could have happened to me to get me off of iTunes for syncing crap.

After watching countless videos on the Note 7, I have to admit I am tempted to go back. I had an S4 and Note 3. Both were good, but the Note 7 is far and away the most feature packed phone. My wife is trying to keep me on apple, due to my apple watch, but I am having a hard time :)

It's clear that you have an issue with people thinking android sucks and feeling the need to post a pointless response.

You should do what you want. My son left Apple for android for one year. He missed out on a lot because the families are 99% iPhone. That's about 50 people. He now has an iPhone. But I wouldn't let the Apple Watch stop me, I would sell it and use what I want.

To confirm, Apple hasn't officially said an iPhone 7 is being released in September, right?
We won't officially know this for another couple of weeks, no?

Just making sure I wasn't missing anything...

yeah, thats what I am thinking. the Note7 seems so far advanced in comparison and I am feeling like apple is falling a bit behind. All the rumors point to the 7/7 plus not being a huge step

I've uploaded a bunch of mp3's to Dropbox and can play thru that. Is Google music the same?

I will have to sell my S7 Edge. Great phone and no problem. Just want an iPhone again.

I sold my s7 edge and went back to a 6s plus used off swappa for now. Waiting to see what the 7 will be like and if I make that jump or wait. :) But I don't miss android at all. Glad to be back in iOS.

Apple doesn't need too. AT&T just leaked it on a form when they need their employees to work longer hours for iPhone release. So it is definite.

I feel like I've been tempted before but why waste some valuable dollars only to come back? I don't know many if any people that don't inevitably end up with an iPhone. And anyone who does so can't even say they didn't miss all the support the company itself provides and the fluid almost perfect OS.
