You need the horizontal resolution to be 1.33x the vertical. That may not be an option macOS gives you by default; if none of them show that ratio maybe try SwitcResX

A CRT is unlikely to have an aspect ratio setting.

I don't believe any of the newer AppleTVs have an aspect ratio setting for 4:3 TVs. I think only the first generation supported them.

Does that TV have an HDMI or DVI input, or are you using some kind of HDMI to composite or component adapter? That adapter may have some settings to crop the picture.

That's a Sony TV. Can you tell us the model number? That probably will be posted be near the power plug on the back.

More generally what's your goal here? Is it that you have or found this TV and what to see what it can still do? Or do you miss old-school CRT picture (e.g. color)?
