I'm fed up with my cell phone company

i have Att and i have always been with att ive had good and bad representatives but they thats business overall im satisfied with my service. I get service in the middle of nowhere, where a verizon phone would die out here. Im in L.A but where i travel to arizona with my friends they always ask for my phone since they have no service :D The only thing that makes have verizon is that everyone else has verizon so free mobile to mobile. ROLLOVER RULES!!!!! :D

As a former Radioshack employee, lemme tell ya.

Sprint sucks big fat behind. :3

I used to have people come to my store, tearing me a new one because of Sprint, their billing practices, and their useless customer service.

Activating a phone from them was a royal pain-in-the-ass, because they had two different systems, and chances are, if you were doing an upgrade, it was in the old system which was mindnumbingly annoying to use. If you were doing a new customer, 3/4s of the time their server would just go boom and give out.

Which led you to having to call their activation center. Extending the time from a 10-15 minute job, to upwards of an hour.

Not to mention they had way too many different plans and packages that differed ever so slightly, it was hard to remember all of them without their giant brochure and chart.

Not to mention to get on their employee plan, you'd have to be pushing out so many phones a month (dunno if thats the way everywhere or not), with so many features.

And the commission you'd get on one was nothing compared to ATT. ATT would a lot of times double your feature commissions, etc.

Not to mention their employee plan, I just had to buy the phone and the ATT rep gave me an activated SIM. :D

2000 minutes, unlimited text, 200 pic msg, 5MB internet for 25 bucks FTW. :D

Consumer reports chose Verizon

FWIW, in Jan 06 Consumer Reports ranked Verizon #1 in all metro areas.
I loved Cingular Rollover minutes, but the limited coverage and pathetic customer service sent me shopping. I have many friends and neighbors who were employed with Sprint at one time. Supposedly, service is so bad that they have a special number for employees to give to dissatisfied friends and family.
We travel a great deal in the boonies of flyover country. I have always found the most reliable service from Verizon. If you never leave the concrete jungle I suppose it is all the same though.
CR also mentioned that if you travel internationally T-mobile is #1 and Cingular #2.
