They released a paid version of their IM app for the iPhone/iPod touch. They claim they have "IM Push" mode. They even trademarked the "IM Push" term It basically does the same thing as Beejive. It keeps you connected and sends you an email if someone is talking to you. The difference is that your contact will then receive an instant message informing him that you're in 'IM Push' mode and that you'll reply as soon as you can. What you can also do is reply directly by email and they'll convert it into an instant message reply.
